The hiatus is over and so now Challenge 15 is closed. Thank you all so much for participating, this was the most active challenge for sure. Do make sure you check out all the entries as they were all very creative!
Four episodes left before we go on a summer break - but of course challenges will be back after the season concludes to help pass the long months. :)

Challenge 15: Hiatus
The hiatus is long and yet not - three weeks really. To get as many people involved as possible. we are going to offer you three options that you can pick from.
The rules:
You may pick from any of these three ideas but you cannot mix them. If you pick number one, then you can’t mix it with 2 or 3, etc.
You may do all three. Or just two. You do as many of these options as you want.
You have three weeks for these, so all three options are available until the general deadline, which is the day the show returns: April 21.
The options:
1. Screencaps. Here are four screencaps that you can use for your art/gifs. You may add extra textures, stock images, brushes etc, but no other images of Regina or anyone else. The challenge is to take these screencaps and come up with something cool. You can use as many as you want, you don’t have to use all.
2. Most defining moment for Regina in season 2 so far. Basically, you can make gifs or graphics, whatever you want, about a scene or moment or even storyline regarding Regina that you feel has been the most important and crucial in terms of her character (and its development).
3. Magical Hair. Right. So, it’s been established that Regina has magical hair :p Poke fun of continuity, or just gush about all the hairporn. Make sure it is from season 2 only though.
Please make sure you tag the posts with: fyhm15 so all of us will be able to track your responses to our challenge. It’s important because we will reblog selected entries as continued reminder and highlights of the challenge, but to point to all as a collection, a link will be displayed on our blog at all times leading to the challenge entries. :)

Challenge 14: Winter Holidays
Christmas is approaching and now that the show is on hiatus, we figured it’s time to get festive to help pass the time by bringing FYHM’s challenges back. Of course it’s not just Christmas that is celebrated this time of the year, so the challenge is about Winter Holidays is general (and includes New Years Eve too) :)

Challenges Heads Up
Hey guys,
You still have two days left until our current challenge ends. This, however, is our last challenge - for now. When the community started it was just the beginning of the long summer hiatus and we figured challenges could be good to inspire to create and thoroughly explore season one - both from visual and thoughtful aspects.
Now that the new season is coming up in just a few weeks and we already have new promos videos out and episode stills and promo photos are soon to come, too, we are giving the challenges a rest. Each week we all will be preoccupied by the current and upcoming eps anyway, so we are saving the challenges for hiatuses.
So look for them to resume in winter hiatus and then next summer (possibly sometimes in-between, depending on how long breaks the show will take around sweeps.
Thank you to everyone who took part in any of our 13 challenges, your entries were great and we hope you enjoyed them as much as we did. :)

Challenge Extended
Hey guys. This is a note to let you know that we are extending our current challange with another week as this is really a topic that deserves some more time :)

Fuck Yes, Her Majesty’s Challenge 12: Relationships
One of the most intriguing things about Regina is the complexity of her relationships. So much to analyze, so many things to scrutinize. Her complex personality is represented in the many complicated relationships she has in her life. This week’s challenge focuses on all that. Of course you are welcome to create something about romance (Regina/Daniel, Swan Queen, etc) but this could be a really great week to focus on everything else that she has going in her life. Her relationship with the son she loves so much, her mother/father issues that defined her early years, her colorful relationship with enemy Rumple and, of course, that oh so tragic one with Snow White.
You can focus on one, you can compare two or more, you can draw parallels between her relationships in FTL and in Storybrooke, you can do anything you wish. Let’s dig deep, or let’s focus on the lighthearted. Make the graphic/gifset you always wanted to make or make something of a relationship you had not but always wanted to focus on. Here’s your excuse. :)
